MOSCOW -- Local media reported that 15 Russians were killed while 15 more suffered injuries on Saturday morning in a bus crash in the northern Chernigov region. Ukraine's emergencies ministry was quoted by the RIA Novosti news agency as saying that the accident took place at around 5:30 a.m. (local time/0230 GMT) while a Scania bus was traveling along the Chernigov-Kiev road. Russian authorities were informed by the Itar-Tass news agency that the bus was transporting 41 Russians when it overturned after it crossed another lane. The ministry said the bus driver lost control of the vehicle before it eventually flipped over. An investigation is ongoing.
