10 Killed, 38 Injured in Suicide Bomb Attack in Cental Iraqi City

BAGHDAD -- A police source said ten people were killed while 38 others were injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up on Friday night in Ramadi, a city located approximately 100 kilometers west of Baghdad. According to the source, who declined to be identified, the attack occurred at the wedding celebration of a local police officer in the center of Ramadi, the capital city of Anbar province. So far, no individual or group has claimed credit for the attack. The officer added that many of the injured victims are in serious conditions. Anbar province is a known Sunni-dominated area and it has been a hotbed of militancy in Iraq.
