The Vietnamese Ministry of Health reported on Friday 203 new influenza A/H1N1 cases increasing the total number of patients to 7,839.
From the new cases, 149 were detected in the south, 31 in the north, and 23 in the central provinces.
To the date, 5,211 patients have fully recovered and were discharged from hospitals.
Ten deaths have been recorded in Vietnam to the influenza A/H1N1 virus.
