Macao's health authorities reported 25 newly confirmed cases of the A/H1N1 flu on Sunday, raising the region'stotal number of flu cases to 2,694.
Macao's Health Bureau stated that the newly confirmed cases include 12 female and 13 male patients whose ages ranged from as young as seven months to 31.
Based on the Bureau's statistics, about nine patients who tested positive for the A/H1N1 virus are still receiving further medical treatments at local hospitals.
