Phnom Penh -- Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen personally made the announcement about the country's first ever fatality from the A/H1N1 flu virus.
The prime minister made the announcement at the inauguration ceremony of the country's Tourism Ministry building. He said that the victim was a 40-year-old Khmer woman, who passed away on Sunday at the capital's Calmette Hospital.
To date, Cambodia's total number of confirmed A/H1N1 flu cases has already increased to 88. This figure was based on statistics from officials of the Ministry of Health on Monday.
