On Monday, Turkish health authorities reported 1,095 influenza A/H1N1 cases since the first case was detected on May 15.
The first influenza A/H1N1 death took place on Saturday in the Turkish capital of Ankara.
The Turkish Health Ministry stated that five people are currently under treatment from which one is reported as in serious condition.
All education institutions, including pre-schools, elementary, secondary, private, courses and study centres, will be recessed on October 30 to prevent students from getting infected from the flu as stated by the National Education Ministry.
Buildings and gardens to these institutions will be disinfected starting October 29 until November 2. All schools in Ankara were recessed this week.
