Ankara, November 1, 2009 -- A new influenza A/H1N1 death was reported in Turkey by health officials on Sunday.
The new fatal case brings the total deaths to four in the country. The victim was a 27-year-old man that worked in a hospital in the Turkish capital of Ankara as stated by the Turkish Health Ministry.
The first casualty related to the virus was reported on October 24 while the first case was detected on May 15 in Turkey.
To the date, a total of 1,870 cases have been reported in Turkey for the influenza A/H1N1 virus since May.
