The statement that the recent four deaths in the city of Gurdaspur have been caused by the deadly swine flu has led to a scene of panic. Although the health officials have been trying to convince the locals that there is nothing to be worried about and that they have the situation under control, the residents have been just that, worried, for the past few days.

The panic seems to have been accentuated by the death of a 45 year old journalist who died in the city recently. There has also been a news that says that his son too has been suffering from H1N1 and is admitted to the hospital where he is receving treatment for the same.
