ALMATY, Kazakhstan -- The Kazakh state news agency reported on Friday that a Mi-8 helicopter with eight people on board went missing in the eastern frontier of the country.
The report said that the aircraft lost contact with the air control tower on Thursday afternoon while it was on a rescue mission.
