WASHINGTON -- Authorities said a Delta plane headed to the Bahamas on Thursday morning was forced to return to Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport due to an engine trouble during takeoff. According to Delta spokesman Anthony Black, Delta Flight 717 en route to Nassau, took off at around 10:40 a.m. with six crew members and 182 passengers on board. Black added that the aircraft turned around and conducted an emergency landing at Hartsfield after experiencing engine problems. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is set to conduct an investigation. Meanwhile, the passengers have been transferred to another aircraft which is scheduled to take off at 1:45 p.m.
