A/H1N1 flu cases among Asian countries continued to rise as Thailand reported 196 new infections on Monday.
Thailand's Public Health Ministry made the official announcement that 196 more patients have been confirmed to have contracted the A/H1N1 flu virus, raising the country's total number of such cases to 2,272.
Public Health Minister Witthaya Kaewparada stated that about 2,230 patients have already recovered while 35 others are still being treated in hospitals. The counntry has also registered seven people who died of the A/H1N1 flu virus.
