Macao health authorities announced 60 newly confirmed cases of the A/H1N1 flu on Saturday, raising the regions number of flu cases to 1,189.
According to Macao's Health Bureau, the newly confirmed cases include 36 female and 24 male patients whose ages ranged from two to 66.
Based on the statistics from the Bureau, about 12 patients who contracted the A/H1N1 virus were still receiving medical treatments but their conditions remained stable.
