The Interfax news agency reported on Saturday a shooting by armed gunmen on a Chechen police convoy in the southern region of Ingushetia in Russia. According to the report, the attack left nine police dead.

The attackers were armed with automatic weapons that they used to shoot the convoy from the roadside forest. The incident also left other nine police seriously wounded as the news agency stated.
