Heavy flooding closed the harbours along the Moei River. Authorities have declared Mae Sot Municipality an emergency zone. Cross border trade between Thailand and Myanmar hampered are also hampered. More than 10 villages on the Thai side are reported to be flooded. Floodwater of over one metre has inundated both the Thai and the Myanmar border.
